SuperSport United will use Saturday's international game against Queensland Roar in Australia to sharpen themselves for the 2007-08 soccer season.

Matsatsantsa a Pitori, who are now under the guidance of Gavin Hunt, leave for Down Under tomorrow to acclimatise.

"That is why our players reported for training last Wednesday and not yesterday [Sunday] as per the initial arrangement," said David "Mazolman" Skhosana, United's public relations officer.

"Everybody in the camp is excited about going to Australia, for us it is a great honour to have been invited to play and train Down Under.

"We are using the trip as part of our pre-season training for the new season. The new coach is hard at work preparing the team.

"Coach Gavin is excited about the prospects of the team in the new season, he is working very well with Thomas Madigage and other members of the technical staff," said Skhosana.

"We are taking a squad of 21 players, the same guys who were with us last season. The only new addition is Rudi Isaacs.

"We have recalled Rudi from Moroka Swallows where he was on loan, he will be travelling with the team to Australia."

Khulu Sibiya, United's chairman, will lead the delegation to Australia. Roar will use the game to launch their anti-racism campaign.

Meanwhile, United have sent their condolences to the family of Mamelodi Sundowns owner Patrice Motsepe, following the death of his father, ABC Motsepe.
