Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira and assistant Pitso Mosimane decided to give some of their players some test.

Present at this session was Steve Komphela, the Under-23 coach.

For almost a week the team is served this particular brand of tea which especially Pitso likes. And why not when it was Pitco.

"Look gentlemen there is nothing obvious here. Le denke majita, neh," Pitso advises.

That began the trouble as the guys started to suspect that they were about to be tricked

"What tea do footballers drink?" fires Parreira.

"Come Cyril".

"Penaltea, coach"

"Umbedo," responds an irritated looking Khabo Zondo.

Mosimane reminds the players about the fact that their camp in Rustenburg is by the way next to a game reserve which they visited a day before. Apart from other animals there are also hundreds of Zebras.

"What is black and white and black and white and black and white? Yes, Vuyo?" the Brazilian asks.

"Sure coach, remember Orlando Pirates under Papic. They come like a black and white and black and white and black and white waves."

As others laugh at him he gives Lerato Chabangu a mean look before insisting that: "Hei monna, I'm a defender. What Zebra?.Wa phapha wena Jomo."

Mosimane is asked to take over.

"Okay guys let's get serious now. No jokes.

"Delron, what lights up a football stadium? Is it mastlights, candlelights or floodlights?"

After consulting with the eloquent Steve, Delron, says: "A football match."
