Max Mamase, his wife Neo Moerane-Mamase and their co-accused, Cape Town businessman Norman Benjamin, face six charges of fraud and corruption relating to the purchase of a farm in Eastern Cape.
The couple had applied to appeal the decision by the Bhisho high court that their case be heard in East London and not Bhisho, where the alleged offences took place.
