Blue-light gang hijack vehicles

Motorists driving along the N4 in Mpumalanga have been warned to look out for hijackers using a police blue light to rob vehicles.

The bogus cops normally travel in two cars, flash their blue light at unsuspecting motorists, and once they stop, the motorists are robbed and hijacked.

The latest victims were two sisters who were driving from Mozambique. They were robbed of passports, cellphones, cash and had their car hijacked.

Police Inspector Vusi Mahlangu confirmed the incident.
