Privatising PSL games is robbing poor

Irvin Khoza and Kaizer Motaung are failing the South African masses. I cannot see the rationale of privatising PSL games.

It is apparent that only the rich and middle class in South Africa will benefit from the changeover to SuperSport.

We pay for television licences, but we are deprived of our right to choose what we want to see.

We are forced to watch old movies, repeats of programmes such as Gazlam, and now we will not be able to watch a soccer game at the weekend.

It was bad as it was and now it is going to be worse.

I cannot understand how Khoza, who is on the 2010 committee, could allow this latest development.

How can he say that the Fifa World Cup in 2010 will be successful in South Africa when only 9percent of the country's population can afford DStv?

Khoza and Motaung must stop misleading the nation.
