Limpopo Black Business 2010 Forum has formed a strategic partnership with the all- white Polokwane Chamber of Business to benefit from the World Cup.

Kedi Mabotja, forum chairman, said they were excited that business people in Polokwane were on the same page for 2010.

"The aim of our alliance with the chamber of business is to share resources and expertise. We will also use the partnership to look into the issue of Black Economic Empowerment partnerships as people of Polokwane, and Limpopo in general.

"We need to strike some deals on the ground so that the people of Limpopo can also benefit from the BEE deals. We only read about them happening elsewhere.

"Forming business partnerships will also help to create more big companies, especially here in Limpopo where we still have a high number of unemployed," said Mabotja.
