Soccer bosses betray poor people

Capitalism has reared it's ugly head in soccer. I do not understand how people like Irvin Khoza and Kaizer Motaung can make business deals which do not benefit the people.

Apartheid deprived us of many opportunities, but it is more painful to see that our so-called icons are also depriving us. How can they take away soccer from the SABC just because of bigger profits?

Currently, many people are battling to go to soccer matches because of the cost involved.

The PSL's deal with SuperSport will further widen the huge gap between poor and rich people because only the well-off can afford DStv. Perhaps we supporters should reconsider our loyalty and rather use our hard-earned R20 to feed our families rather than wasting it on soccer bosses who only think about making fortunes.
