Innocent "Ayoba-yo" Mayoyo, who took Winnerspark to the National First Division playoffs, has parted company with the club.

Mayoyo told Sowetan he has signed a two-season contract with Moroka Swallows where he will assist the newly-appointed coach Ian Gorowa.

"I have concluded a deal with Leon Prins (Swallows' chief executive) and looking forward to be part of Swallows' technical staff in the next two seasons," Mayoyo said.

"I have decided to move on with my life after seeing that Winnerspark were not engaging me in terms of a new contract. I was keen to stay at Winnerspark but there was nothing coming through from them. I wish them (Winnerspark) the best of luck in the new season."

Efforts to solicit comments from Prins, Gorowa and Morris Chokoe, Winnerspark's co-director, drew a blank at print time yesterday.

Sipho "Sikha Bopha" Xulu, Swallows' general manager, could neither deny nor confirm that the talented yet undervalued Mayoyo has joined the Birds' nest.
