Pat Moyaha, Limpopo Eagles Golf Association public relations officer, was delighted that they had reached the targeted number of golfers for the Peter Mokaba Golf Challenge in Polokwane tomorrow.
"Our target of participants was 160 and we managed to reach this number and now we are looking forward to a fun day of golf on Saturday [tomorrow]," Moyaha said yesterday.
Dickson Nkono and Ntiski Mashimbe are among top politicians who will take part in the sixth event of the spectacle that is staged in commemoration of their fellow politician, the late ANC leader Peter Mokaba.
The tournament is sponsored for more than R240 00 and there will be prize money and trophies for the winners.
Limpopo Premier Sello Moloto is expected to attend the prize-giving ceremony later in the day.
The Challenge will be played on a betterball Stableford format over 18 holes.
