The Proteas' batsman and his model fiancee, Tenielle Povey from Durban, quietly exchanged vows after their second engagement.
They have known each other since 2003.
"He is the most attractive man in the world and makes me laugh a lot," Povey said.
The couple had let slip on a previous occasion they would like to get married on the Caribbean island of Antigua.
Herman Gibbs, Herschelle's father, confirmed that his son had married Povey, but declined to comment further.
