The book, which coincides with the 10th anniversary of the princess' death in a car crash in Paris in August 1997, has been written by her friend, New Yorker magazine editor, Tina Brown.
Among other claims, Brown alleges that Diana and Charles had sex on the royal train before they married and that Charles only cheated on the princess after her eating disorders and hysteria had become too much for him to endure.
Other friends of the princess have denied the claims in the book, which will be released in the UK and the US tomorrow.
