Yesterday was another blessed day for Chris Hani-Baragwanath Hospital patients in Soweto as members of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) continued to fill in for striking public servants.
Yesterday was another blessed day for Chris Hani-Baragwanath Hospital patients in Soweto as members of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) continued to fill in for striking public servants.
Almost everywhere one looked in the huge hospital, the SANDF colours were visible. The soldiers were seen manning posts as porters pushing stretchers in the corridor, preparing food in the kitchen, tending to patients in the wards, working the queues at the outpatient section, as well as being on call at casualty attending to the seriously injured.
