Coaches of University of Pretoria and Winnerspark are satisfied with their teams' preparations for the National First Division Platinum playoffs first leg clash at LC de Villiers Stadium in Tshwane today (8pm).

AmaTuks's mentor Sammy Troughton and his counterpart at Winnerspark, Innocent Mayoyo, said their charges were mentally and physically ready for the encounter.

Said Troughton: "We held a three-day special training camp in North West to sharpen up the players. We also played to a 2-2 draw against Jomo Cosmos in some of our preparatory matches and I'm convinced the players are more than ready for the match."

Winnerspark, on the other hand, played against invitational squads from schools around Springs, in Ekurhuleni and clubs in Lebowakgomo as part of their preparations.

"While we are going to Pretoria with a cautious approach, we will fight for a result," Mayoyo said.

The Seshego side go into this match with a psychological advantage over the hosts after having held AmaTuks to a 2-2 draw at the same venue in the first leg of their league duel this past season before pipping them 1-0 in a return match in Seshego.
