An indecent assault charge against a 30-year-old woman accused of luring a young man into the veld and then forcing herself onto him was withdrawn in the Kempton Park magistrates' court yesterday.

Magistrate Zodwa Mkhombo refused the prosecution's request to postpone the case.

She told the court she was withdrawing the case because the complainant had failed to appear in court.

Hlengiwe Sithole and a friend allegedly lured a 21-year-old job seeker away from a brick company by pretending they were also looking for jobs in April. They allegedly walked with him through an open veld where they overpowered him, forced him to take off his pants, and then rubbed a lotion on his penis to stimulate erection. The friend stood guard while Sithole had sex with the man.
