SACP is not helping situation in Khutsong

I am disappointed at the stance the SACP has taken in the crisis in Khutsong.

I am disappointed at the stance the SACP has taken in the crisis in Khutsong.

South Africa is one country. It is not as if the residents of Khutsong are being moved to Zimbabwe or to Botswana.

Destroying the future of young school children will not change the town's car number plates or its provincial status.

If people felt strongly that they wanted to belong to Gauteng, there are mechanisms and channels they can follow, without causing all this mayhem.

A whole generation of school children will loose valuable education this year. This generation of people will lose a year of their lives at school, tertiary institutions and places of work even if the crisis is resolved this year.

The question is, what will happen if the government decides to do away with provincial borders and creates regions?

The communist party of Mabhida and Kotane would never have tolerated this attitude. It was once the liberation movement's think tank. The SACP of today is lost.

What kind of leaders destroy a town and a generation? What did we fight and sacrifice our lives for?

We did not fight against demarcation or provincial borders, but for our people's emancipation and for a national democratic society.

The people who are leading this catastrophe should be isolated and must be exposed for their stupidity.
