Now that he has been included in the starting line-up to face England in the second Test, Bok winger Akona Ndungane says he aims to make a name for himself in the starting 15.

The 26-year-old Ndungane was speaking at the Springboks' media conference in Sandton yesterday.

The Springboks meet England at Loftus on Saturday after mesmerising the latter in the first Test in Bloemfontein at the weekend.

Said an excited Ndungane: "It is wonderful to be back in the national squad.

"My main objective is to cement my place in the team and be part of the coming World Cup squad.

"But the most important thing at the moment is to play well for my country on Saturday.''

Ndungane, who played a key role in the Blue Bulls' win over the Sharks in the Super 14 finals in Durban recently, will be motivated by his team's supporters at home.

Bok coach Jake White announced that he had made three changes to the team that will lock horns with the visitors at the weekend.

Wing Ndungane, CJ van der Linde and Gurtho Steenkamp will replace Ashwin Willemse, BJ Botha and Johan Carstens.

White was quite satisfied with the team's performance against England in the first Test in Bloemfontein.

"It was a great achievement. But what is crucial for me now is to build good combinations in all departments.

"I expect the team to perform better this time around on Saturday in Pretoria,'' said White.
