Gwen Ramokgopha, Tshwane executive mayor, will set up a 2010 Project Office as part of the town's preparations for the World Cup.

Gwen Ramokgopha, Tshwane executive mayor, will set up a 2010 Project Office as part of the town's preparations for the World Cup.

It will deal specifically with matters relating to the 2010 World Cup on behalf of the Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. The 2010 Project Office is expected to be operational in two months' time. Ramokgopha said everything has been put in place to ensure that the municipality stages successful World Cup matches.

She said they will be appointing engineers to start with the upgrading of Loftus Stadium, one of the venues selected for the World Cup. - Ramatsiyi Moholoa
