After reading "Why men don't want to marry", in Sowetan of May 24, I realised how desperate woman are for marriage.

I am a 26-year-old, hard working woman. All my previous relationships were either abusive or there was no love in them. I woke up one day and realised that I remained in all those relationships because I am desperate for love.

I think we women are so desperate for love that we even settle for abusive, rude, arrogant men. I urge all my sisters to stop going for good looks or wealth because it can deceive or even fade away. Go for someone who makes you smile, as it only takes a smile to make a dark day bright. I promise you, love is were you least expect it.
