Now that Gavin is gone, some people are asking "where to" in terms of new coach? Speculation is rife. The likes of Shakes Mashaba, Kenny Ndlanzi and Trott Moloto are mentioned. With due respect to these gentlemen, we are talking modern football here. Swallows' management would have to be vigilant when pursuing Gavin's replacement. Swallows' supporters need a modern coach who will (immediately) turn things around.

Bra Shakes or Trott could make very good team managers at Swallows (since none in the current management would make a charismatic team manager), but not good coaches. Leave Bra Kenny out.

I know I speak for many Birds supporters when I mention a technical team headed by Owen "Rubber Doll" da Gama, with Noel "Mzala" Cousins and Andries Mpondo as assistants.

A new team manager (Shakes or Trott) should be brought in, with Sipho Xulu and Bennett Mtshali as far away from the playing personnel as possible, but responsible for general administration.
