Santos, who are determined to make the 2007-08 season theirs, have parted ways with three of their regular players, but coach Roger De Sa has promised to bring on board youngsters from their development programme to beef up the squad.

The trio is striker and Botswana international Dipsey Selolwane, Omar Hendricks and defender Ruben Cloete.

De Sa said the three had decided to leave for greener pastures when the Castle Premiership programme ended.

He said he did not know which clubs they will be joining in the new season, but he pointed out that they were out of contract.

"We're delighted that we've produced two youngsters in Cloete and Hendricks from our development programme, so we wish them well in their endeavours," he said.

De Sa added that their long-serving defender and captain Edries Burton, who retired officially in their final game against Black Leopards in Thohoyandou, will be drafted into management.

Burton has been appointed the People's Team's chief operations officer and will continue to serve the club.

"I hope to do well in my new job," he said.
