Four Mpumalanga girls caught smoking dagga at school led police to the alleged dealer's home.

A police spokesman, Captain Leonard Hlathi, said the girls, aged between 14 and 18, from Maetanalo High School in Middelburg, pointed out the man who, they said, sold them the dagga. He was arrested.

"Police searched the dealer's premises and found dagga to the value of R5000," said Hlathi.

The man had been arrested earlier for dealing in dagga and was released after paying an admission-of-guilt fine.
