LONDON - Tony Blair visited US President George Bush yesterday in what will likely be the British prime minister's final visit to the White House as the country's leader.

Blair and Bush will discuss a number of issues, Blair's spokesman said. He said climate change, the crisis in Darfur, the G-8 conference and Iraq are on the agenda.

"The World Trade Organisation talks are high on the agenda because we are approaching crunch point," an official spokesman said on condition of anonymity.

"The run-up to the G-8 will be important, particularly on climate change."

Blair will step down as prime minister on June 27. - Sapa
