Gedlembane High School has vowed to continue their dominance over EJ Singwane High School when they meet in the Silulumanzi Cup at Msogwaba Stadium today at 2:30pm.

Both schools are based in Msogwaba township in Pienaar, near Nelspruit. They are sharing the same stadium as a home ground and are only three kilometres apart.

In their last meeting in the Sports Against Crime (SAC) tournament Gedlembane emerged 3-1 victors.

But EJ Singwane coach Sizwe Mubi, said it would be a mistake to read too much into the previous scoreline.

"The SAC doesn't offer such a big prize like the Silulumanzi and that is why we didn't take it serious," said Mubi.

Gedlembane coach Bhekithemba Madalane said its was not easy to predict the outcome of derbies but he was optimistic that they would continue their dominance over their neighbours.

The champions of the tournament, which also includes netball, are guaranteed a cool R10000, trophy plus gold medals.

Today's soccer fixtures:

Khutsalani v Sitintile (KaBokweni stadium); Lungisani v Ncakini (Manzini Primary); Mthombo v Masitakhe (Mthombo open ground).

Netball: Lihawu v Gedlembane (Lihawu); Khumbula v Ncakini (Mntungwa); Khutsalani v Mbuyane (Khutsalani); Guduza v Mntungwa (Guduza).
