Scorpions advocate, Portia Kgantsi, was at the Sandton police station to investigate cases against two Nigerians when she was arrested for corruption, the Johannesburg high court heard yesterday.

Scorpions advocate, Portia Kgantsi, was at the Sandton police station to investigate cases against two Nigerians when she was arrested for corruption, the Johannesburg high court heard yesterday.

State witness, Pieter Jonker, a special investigator, said he had been on Kgantsi's trail after he was informed that she had demanded R40000 from the Nigerians who had been arrested for fraud.

He said Kgantsi was arrested after she received the money. - Khanyisile Nkosi
