eNatis blunder bleeds citizens

With the current problems being experienced by eNatis, I am tempted to say somebody benefitted by awarding the tender to an incompetent company.

Since the system came into place, we have seen nothing but problems. And the authorities' excuses are pathetic. When they talk about capacity problems, I wonder if they did their homework when putting the system in place.

The transport department should have realised from the outset that there would be capacity problems and should have had a plan in place to avert them.

Now the situation is worsened by expecting the public to finance the system.

The people occupying high office in government departments always take the public for granted. Transport Minister Jeff Radebe, please get your house in order. This is tax payers' money you are abusing.
