SuperSport United United are planning a memorable farewell for coach Pitso Mosimane in their last home match, against Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday.

The much-anticipated Castle Premiership match will be played at Loftus on Sunday (3pm), which will also coincide with Mother's Day celebrations.

United won the first leg 1-0.

Mosimane will be sitting on the bench for the last time at home before moving to Bafana Bafana as a full-time assistant coach. Matsatsantsa a Pitori are left with two games - home against Phunya Selesele and away to Moroka Swallows - to complete their season.

"This is a crucial game, we need maximum points to enhance our chances of qualifying for the African Champions League," said David Skosana, United's publicist. "It's also sad that it will be the last one at home with Pitso as coach, Pitso has made it clear that he wants to leave the club in high spirits.

"We have decided to allow all our mothers coming to the game free access as Sunday will be Mother's Day," added Skosana.

Sello Nduna, Celtic's spokesman, said: "The next three games [against SuperSport, Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United] will be crucial.

"We have to win all of them to qualify for the top eight competition. It won't be easy but our players are geared up for the fight."

United's camp yesterday resembled of a hospital ward with various players nursing all sorts of ailment and injuries. They included Kermit Erusmus, Katlego Mphela, Michael Nkambule, Isaac Mabotsa, Ricardo Katza and Shaun Poggenpoel. But those who are available, like Daine Klate, Richard Rantjie, Katlego Mashego and Teko Modise, are capable of beating Celtic.
