World number one Woods and fellow American Jordan, good friends for several years, have been paired in the same threesome for today's pro-am at Quail Hollow Club.
"We are pleased to have this opportunity to enhance the patrons' experience on the day," tournament director Kim Hougham said.
"These two gentlemen are two of the most well-known athletes in the world and to have them both here for one day playing in the same group is a special treat."
