It is a shame and disgrace for Mandla Mthembu to now call Khanyisile Mbau a gold digger as reported in Sowetan on Tuesday.

That's sour grapes Mthembu. Be man enough and stop insulting our intelligence. You knew all along what you were up to, dating a woman young enough to be your child. You boasted that "it is love from heaven".

Mthembu did this to himself. It was written on the wall with golden letters that your affair with that young Mbau was financially motivated. I just hope she wins the case against you and hits you where it hurts most, in your pocket.

On the other hand Mbau is not completely blameless.

Falling in love with a person old enough to be your grandfather was not on, unless you were just after his money. It should be a lesson to you, and other young women, who looked up to you as a role model, should learn from this.

Mthembu should have known that Mbau was young and that she still wanted to play with her peers.

He shouldn't have flashed money around like that, playing the rich sugar daddy. Instead he should now concentrate on his children.
