Trade and Industry Minister Mandisi Mpahlwa must make up his mind about the future of the national lottery.

Trade and Industry Minister Mandisi Mpahlwa must make up his mind about the future of the national lottery.

His silence over the next steps has been deafening since Judge Willie Seriti set aside Mpahlwa's decision to award the licence to Gidani after ruling that the allocation process was flawed.

We find it strange that a month later the minister has still not made up his mind. This is despite all stakeholders pleading for a swift resolution to the issue.

Mpahlwa's indecisiveness boggles the mind. He is holding all parties to ransom. This is unacceptable.

The minister must remember he is a public servant elected and paid to serve in the best interest of those who voted him into power.
