Frans Chauke, one of South Africa's exciting long distance runners, will take part in the Mr Price Ballito Indian Ocean Marathon from Ballito to Durban on May 1.
Chauke will be using the event as part of his preparations for this year's Comrades Marathon in June.
The organisers of this 11th yearly marathon confirmed at the weekend that Zimbabwean Wellington Chidodo will also take part. Runners who finish the event in less than five hours can enter the Comrades Marathon.
