The Vodacom League national playoffs are in turmoil as four provinces are engaged in protests which could delay the finalisation of their logs.

The playoffs are set for QwaQwa in the Free State from May 21 to 27.

Selokela Mosetle, Safa competition's director, said the four provinces embroiled in the squabbles are Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West and Free State.

"Protests and appeals are normal in football, but in this league it has became a norm towards the end of the season.

"But we promise that these (protests and appeals) will be concluded within seven days," he said.

Mosetle said without the finalisation of log standings they won't confirm who the provincial champions are at this stage.

He, however, assured that all the delays won't affect the national playoffs dates. The final will be played at Charles Mopeli Stadium on May 27.
