River of Life Christian Ministries ended their 13th Apostolic School of Ministry week in Pietermaritzburg yesterday

The convention started last Monday at 5 Coventry Place, Pietermaritzburg.

The objective of the Apostolic School of Ministry week was to resource church leaders.

This is to mould them to become spiritually relevant and contribute towards the holistic development of their members to create a better society.

Christian leaders from 15 nations, with about 200 registered delegates, attended.

Some of the countries represented included the US, Thailand, Botswana, Germany, Brazil and other African countries.

A gala dinner was held on Saturday night.

The schools are hosted twice a year in Pietermaritzburg. The focus is on providing resources and tools for church leaders to deal with modern challenges.

Its aim is to help to reprogramme, retool and restructure church leaders and their congregations.

The Reverend Thamo Naidoo, the school's principal organiser, travels extensively, both locally and internationally, speaking at leadership conferences on the necessity for an Apostolic Reformation of the Church as it prepares to function in the third millennium. - Staff Reporter
