Norbet Lebese "Boy" Hlalele was born on December 29 1947, the second child of the late Sydney and Rose Hlalele.
Hlalele was married to Likomo and had three sons.
Hlalele obtained his BA and University Education Diploma at the University of the North, Turfloop.
He began his career at Meadowlands High School. He then moved to Lebohang High School in Boipatong, where he was deputy principal.
He returned home to Soweto to Dr Vilakazi High School in Zola, where as deputy principal. He was transferred to Letare High School as principal.
Hlalele will be laid to rest tomorrow at Westpark Cemetery. The service will be held at St Angela's Roman Catholic Church at 11.30am.
