Game-viewing 4x4 cars, exclusive lodge furniture and new branded butchery, bakery and catering equipment will come under Aucor's hammer at an urgent, no-reserve auction.

Commenting on the unusual amount and variety of stock freed up for auction after a game lodge lost a contract, Aucor director Matthew Henderson said: "The variety of stock equals the immense volume and, most important of all, all of it has to go."

A look at the lot list explains Henderson's enthusiasm.

Up for sale are dough mixers, convection ovens, shwarma rotary grillers, gas braais, potato peelers, assorted meat mincers and many other catering-related items.

"If it's used in the catering trade, it's coming up for auction on Tuesday," Henderson said.

Other items on offer include two 2005 130 game-viewer Land Rovers, a 2002 Toyota Rav 4, several functional vehicles ideal for commercial use, a wide range of guest suite, reception and lounge furniture, various appliances, and emergency power generators and accessories.

"We have a lot of experience in selling sources of alternative energy supply and can unequivocally vouch for the usefulness of these machines," Henderson said.

The generators include a new Perkins 120kVA Genset and several silent diesel generators.

The auction, at the Loweveld Co-operative, in Bester Street, Nelspruit, will be held on Tuesday, April 24.

Aucor will hold a woodworking auction the next day with all the goods once again up for sale without reserve.
