Now that news of Big Brother's return has been leaked, scores of wannabes have jammed the entertainment section of Sowetan, demanding to know more about the captivating reality show.

Sowetan can confirm that one of the 12 housemates is a South African. According to Big Brother, the other house mates will come from Zimbabwe, Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Tanzania and Ghana.

Up for grabs is about R700000 from Big Brother, which will hand over the money to the last person in the house.

The selection committee for a South African Big Brother Africa 2 contestant search closes on May 2.

It will be screened all day and night on a dedicated DStv channel and will have four daily highlight shows on Tuesday to Friday. The weekly nomination and eviction show will be aired on M-Net's Africa Magic channel, also on DStv.

Hopefuls can simply turn up at an audition venue and sing or act their way to fame and fortune.

So, all those adventurous, fun-loving, creative, original, articulate and opinionated people who think they have what it takes to live in a fishbowl should send off their entries to Big Brother Africa.

Entry forms are available online at www.mnet.co.za or you can pop into any of the MultiChoice offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban.
