The 26s are con artists who either con you out of your possessions or, if you are a hard nut to crack, plan to rob you.

The 28s are interested in homosexual activities or having sexual relations with younger inmates who they keep as wyfies.

The Big 5 are the eyes and ears of prison authorities. Whatever happens in prison they relay to the warders. They have a sophisticated method of communicating with warders who reward them with favours.

The Airforce RAF 3 are a flight risk. They escape at the slightest opportunity and in doing so they try not to injure or kill anybody.

The Airforce RAF 4, unlike the RAF 3, prefer leaving a trail of blood when they escape. This is part of their strategy - if they are rearrested they would have to face additional charges and so would have to attend court. This would provide them with a further opportunity for escape while they being transported to and from the court.

The Fransmanne don't belong to any gang and are regarded as sissies.
