Robbers gun down toddler in house

The callous murder of a two-year-old girl in Lyndhurst has left people with questions about the value of human life in South Africa.

The child and her mother were visiting from Nigeria.

Police said four robbers surprised the woman where she was staying in Corlett Gardens.

The child woke up and cried and was shot.

The robbers took three cellphones and a video recorder.

The mother has been taken in by friends.
