Talented gospel singer Andile Zuma has died .
Zuma, 29, a nephew of ANC deputy president Jacob Zuma, died on Wednesday afternoon at the Johannesburg Hospital.
The singer, who hails from Nkandla in KwaZulu-Natal, died after complaining about a splitting headache.
Bigboy Mlangeni, an executive of the music recording company Bula Music, said Zuma had been complaining about headaches from early last month and was eventually taken to the Johannesburg Hospital.
Zuma had just released his second album Ngihambise.
Though still trying to find his foot in the music industry, he was an artist who showed signs of becoming one of the best gospel singers around.
His latest offering shows his growth since the release of his first album, Amaqhawe, in 2003.
Mlangeni said: "It is a great loss to us at Bula Music, his family and the country as a whole. Andile was a very dedicated artist and he had a lot to offer.
"Though he was new in the industry, he had already made his mark."
Zuma is survived by his wife.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been finalised.
