Limpopo local government and housing MEC Maite Nkoana-Mashabane and her departmental head, Sam Rampedi, will this morning start a week-long fact-finding visit to municipalities.

"Municipalities as service delivery agents of government are critical in the delivery of quality services and the MEC wants to ensure they can deliver as expected by communities," departmental spokesman Clayson Monyela said.

During the visit Nkoana-Mashabane will also officially open completed housing projects in the various municipalities.

These include Greater Giyani and Greater Letaba in Mopani district, Lephalale in the Waterberg district and the Elias Motsoaledi municipality in Sekhukhune.
