The 70/80 Soccer Legends will invade four different provinces to disband their interim committees and elect new executive committee members.

The provinces are Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Northern Cape and Eastern Cape. The committees will be elected before the end of the soccer season.

Trott Moloto, the organisation's national coordinator, said five provinces alrady have new committees in place and they were left with the four.

"We were supposed to select new members in Limpopo and Eastern Cape earlier this year but the exercise was postponed indefinitely. But now that they are ready, we'll be in Limpopo next weekend and Eastern Cape at the end of April," said Moloto.

He said the organisation had started conducting coaching clinics at other areas that were without structures like Matatiele, where the Easter soccer tournament was staged by local people.

"They have no facilities like proper playing fields and dressingrooms. Our objective is to develop the worst areas in the country.

"There is a lot of untapped talent in these areas and as the 70/80 Legends, we need to assist them," said Moloto.

Sam Leballo, who has been staging the Easter tournament for the past two years in Matatiele, said he extended an invitation to the 70/80 Soccer Legends to attend the event in the area. The tournament was played at Tshita village and was watched by a large crowd.

"Moloto was accompanied by Zola Dunywa and they both conducted coaching clinics after the event. Fans were happy to see top soccer officials in the area," Leballo said.
