ANC stalwart Albertina Sisulu will be saluted by the University of Johannesburg during its autumn graduation ceremony tonight for her contribution to democracy.
Also to be honoured is the late businessman Eric Molobi, who played a role in the liberation of the country.
The university will confer honorary doctoral degrees on the two in "acknowledgment of their revolutionary journeys to show hope and belief in a better tomorrow to a nation".
Molobi, who passed away last year, played a significant role in the Black Consciousness Movement.
