Pirates vow to win cup again

Junior Pirates, the 2005 Selati Super Cup champions, have vowed to lift the trophy again this season.

Pirates face Mashaba United in a last-16 clash at Driekoppies ground on Saturday at 9am.

United booked their place after bundling out defending champions, Ntunta Home Killers via a 3-1 win.

Pirates, on the other hand, beat Stone Breakers 4-0. Super Ngwenya, Pirates' owner, said the spirit is high among his players. .

Solomon Mashaba, United's owner, said Pirates can speak as much as they wanted but they (United) are going to beat them on the field of play.

Other fixtures: Swazi Messengers v Bhunya Sundowns (7am); Young Stars v KNP Team (11am); Shongwe Highlanders v Buffelspruit Classic (3pm).

At Highlanders sports ground: Simply The Best v Junior All Blacks (1pm); Junior Aces v Shongwe Chiefs (3pm).
