Eritrea slams US claims

ASMARA - Eritrea yesterday dismissed allegations by US assistant secretary of state, Jendayi Frazer, that it was trying to destabilise Somalia to hurt its archenemy Ethiopia.

Frazer met members of Somalia's interim government at the weekend to urge them to open the political process to all Somalis who renounced violence. - Reuters
