Sowetan web tops

Latest figures released by Nielsen-Netratings, a global leader in Internet media and market research, show an increase of almost 35percent in the number of people logging on to the Sowetan website.

"The page impressions have grown from 984278 at the end of July to 1324023 at the end of February," reports Nielsen-Netratings.

Current videos on offer in the multimedia section include:

l A five-part interview with the Premier Soccer League's chief executive Trevor Phillips held with Sowetan's Extra Time.

In it he discusses a number of issues from the row over television rights with the SABC to corruption in soccer.

l She's 132 years old and still going strong - a Sowetan interview with the country's oldest woman.

l The Harley Davidson motorcycle group might appear rough, but deep down they have hearts of gold.
