A well-known Pretoria pathologist who went missing last Friday was found dead this week.

The body of Simon Seopela, 41, above, was found on Monday by police divers at Hartebeespoort Dam near Brits.

His car was parked nearby.

He was the son of soccer legend Seth "Stopper" Seopela, of Spa Sporting Club fame in the early 1960s.

Seopela worked for Ampath Laboratories in Centurion.

He will be buried on Saturday.

The funeral service will be at Atteridgeville's St Bernard the Martyr Church, Ramushu Street, at 7.30am.
