The Easter weekend is one that many people look forward to, and this one promises to be one of the best for soccer lovers with live games and television packages of local and international action.
While that is so, the African Soccer Television (ASTV) show, knowing that not all of last weekend's action was seen, brings you the highlights of various tournaments, leagues and international friendlies during SABC Sport's Laduma programme on Sunday at 3pm.
The show features the 2008 Beijing Olympics qualifiers in which South Africa's Under-23 national team's north African safari saw them play a goalless draw against Uganda and Ghana's Black Starlets pasting Burkina Faso 2-0 at home.
The 2007 CAF Confederations Cup is also going ahead full steam and last weekend saw Benfica Luanda being held to a 0-0 draw at home by Daring Club Motemba Pembe, a result that was also settled upon in the game between Interclube and Mwana Africa.
Things are happening in the Mountain Kingdom as the Lesotho League gains momentum. The once powerful Matlama FC are currently playing second fiddle to Likhopo FC, who edged them 1-0.
