Banks should stop charging customers extra if they use another banks' ATMs, First National Bank (FNB) proposed during round two of the Competition Commission's public hearings on bank fees in Pretoria. If adopted by all banks, FNB argued, the move would save South African banking customers about R500million in Saswitch fees yearly. - Staff Reporter
