Black Leopards are not necessarily excited by the fact that they face Bidvest Wits tomorrow with the former Wits head coach, Boebie "Mzala" Solomons, on their side.

Solomons was brought to Thohoyandou as a technical assistant and he also deals with the side's defenders and assists Hans-Dieter Schmidt.

Lidoda Duvha welcome Wits to Thohoyandou Stadium in a Castle Premiership clash, knowing that a further slip-up will push them deeper into crisis.

Tshifhiwa Thidiela, Leopards' spokesman, said having Solomons did not mean the game was won.

"Yes, Boebie knows Wits far better than anybody else at Leopards and his advice will be important for us," he said yesterday.

"But we are not going to sit back excitedly because of the situation. We will fight tooth and nail for a win because we are worried about our position [14th] on the log."

He said tickets for the match are available at Shoprite-Checkers stores countrywide and will not be sold at the stadium.

Solomons said: "The players are fantastic and have that never-say-die attitude and this is good for a team."
