The health ministry spokesman, Martinho Dgedge, was quoted in media reports on Wednesday as saying the ministry was still working with its partners in drafting the legislation which would be implemented in Maputo, Beira and Nampula.
Food sold on Maputo's streets range from fruits to meat dishes, some sold in unhygienic conditions.
