Media trips on Agliotti

Brett Kebble murder accused Glenn Agliotti escaped the media spotlight yesterday, thanks to a magistrate's leave plans.

Brett Kebble murder accused Glenn Agliotti escaped the media spotlight yesterday, thanks to a magistrate's leave plans.

An official at the Germiston magistrates' court said his appearance in a separate drug trafficking case had been moved forward to March 23 to accommodate the magistrate's leave.

Agliotti, Stephanos Paparas, his father Dimitrio Paparas, and Stanley Poonin will appear again on May 9.

The three other men arrested in a Scorpions raid on a self-storage facility in Alberton on July 7 turned state witness. Hashish and dagga worth R250million, believed to be destined for the overseas market, was seized.

Agliotti was later added to the charge sheet.
